Intro to 3D Printing

Curious about 3D printing but not sure where to start? This hands-on workshop is your gateway into the world of additive fabrication! You'll learn the basics of 3D printing, including key principles for designing objects that print well. Using TinkerCAD, a free and beginner-friendly design tool, you'll create your own custom object—anything from a keychain to a mini sculpture. We’ll print your design for you in the RBD MakerSpace, so you’ll have a physical copy of your 3D-modeling masterpiece. No prior experience needed! Registration required.
