SUMMARY:Screening of Aftershock
DESCRIPTION:In recognition of Black Maternal Health Week\, the AU College 
 of Nursing and AU Libraries are presenting a screening of “Aftershock” 
 (2022)\, a documentary addressing the American crisis of maternal health\, 
 and specifically the disparities related to maternal health.\n\n\n\nThis 
 award-winning film by Paula Eiselt and Tonya Lewis Lee documents the 
 efforts of two families that lost members to preventable birth 
 complications as they become activists in the birth justice movement. 
 \n\n\n\nThe movie is approximately one hour and 30 minutes long. The 
 screening is open to the public and will take place in the Caroline 
 Marshall Draughon Auditorium on the ground floor of the Ralph Brown 
 Draughon Library.
